Not bad! I really like the colors.
Here's some positive crit for ya: nothing really drew my eye to any particular part of the image right off the bat. I would suggest putting some more detail (not clutter, more visual interest), into it. I think it's begging for some really bright color dodged areas! Especially the "Deep Throughts" text... mmm.. color dodged text... I know it's a gimmick, but I love it every time!
I'd also suggest the same for the center part of the big gradient in the background. Maybe brighten up the center a bit behind the dark blue band in the middle.
The last thing I would suggest is to add something to the little ball-structure thingy on the left. It seems pretty saturated as is. Maybe a bit more contrast with some glow or dodged areas?
Just some suggestions
Keep it up!
peace,

DEEP THOUGHTS!
yeah! ever heard of jack handy?
heres some of his work:
Even though I was their captive, the Indians allowed me quite a bit of freedom. I could walk about freely, make my own meals, and even hurl large rocks at their heads. It was only later that I discovered t hey were not Indians at all, but dirty clothes hampers.
It's too bad that whole families have to be torn apart by something as simple as wild dogs.
Laurie got offended that I used the word "puke." But to me, that' s what her dinner tasted like.
