Well this is my first real post here. Uhm? yeah well anyway I made this Santa together with a friend of mine. I did most of the drawing while he did most of the rendering. The clown is our second try at drawing, outlining and rendering. Well as you can see it's not rendered yet. But we don't want it to look as crappy as the Santa (wich we just used to try stuff out on)hehe When it's finished we'll post the result and hopefully everyone here will have some usefull tips for us then. If you already have some comments on the Santa or the Clown that could be usefull to us please feel free to mention them. We still have alot to learn. Uhm?...What else is there?...Oh yeah we are using Dhabih's tutorial right now. But it's not clear enough on all points (Sorry Dhabih) heeh Well so I would also like to know where I can find more tutorials like that. And before anyone might start flaming on us... we have no experience in this whatsoever. So I think the results are pretty good...If I do say so myself... Now let's just hope the pictures will work...

this is your first rendering with computer? if so, you did an excellent job on the santa =] is the santa supposed to be cartoonish?
the feet on santa look kind of odd to me
the clown's hands are angled really strange, it's like the knuckle of his pinky fingers extend farther than those of the others...

hehe Thanks for the comps Sprout. Well to answer your questions... This is our first time rendering an image yeah. My friend did most of the rendering. he has a real talent. I did most of the drawing. And yeah...it's supposed to be cartoonish. hehe He was supposed to stand up straight. But I kinda messed up the origional drawing. So we just made him sit down. hehe It's the overall idea that counts. I know about the clowns hands btw. But i am really bad at drawing hands. Well keep the comments coming.
