Hey, its been some time since i posted something here, have been getting into my job as a texture artist at GRIN
Were almost finished with our first game called Ballistics (check it out at: http://www.grin.se)
Anyway heres what im working on at the moment, i got my hands om some giger books some days ago and i just couldnt resist, maybe its not very alike his things anyway.

looks sorta giger-ish... but too bright.. try playing with the hue/saturation and then brightness/contrast to give it that dark browny-green texture.. I was playing with it and made it look way more gigerish. Hope ya dont mind |

Hi Kebab!
Very weird and bizzare, I like it! But I agree with the others, try to incorporatoe some more textures and colours. I feel that it would push the image even further.
Post up when you're done!

It looks pretty cool already, but not very giger-esque, IMHO. Giger uses tons of subtle variations in color and very much little detail. If you really want to copy that style, that are the things to get a hold of, I think. |
