yo ppl!
Can you check this one? I've been staring at this for so long that I don't see the faults anymore
I personally think that her body (her belly) is too slim... any help?
Thanx in advance
Jeff

Hey this image is coming along really nicely. The face is fantastic and the hair looks cool as well. I remember seeing the other version about a week ago. In general nothing really stands out as being too wrong apart from the characters left breast. It does look a little too large and doesn't seem to 'flow' into the shoulder correctly. The characters left forearm may be a little too large when compared with the right one.
The legs/fin/whatever is something that you might like to think about. at the moment you have a little bit of an 'indented' region just below the crouch area tending to suggest that legs are somehow 'encased'. I don't know mermaids but you might like to think of removing this indented area.

well, I see some anatomy errors.
theresa suggested some reflections of the water hitting her and it would look neat. i agree.
oh if you make the fin bigger so she could swim it'd look neater and i agree with the leg thing.

hmmm... that was something else I forgot to mention that someone else picked up one. The eyes. The characters left eye seems to be to the left hand side of the page a little. If you could move it to the right a tad I think that would alleviate the 'cross eyed' issue.

Well, I think her hips should be somewhat wider. There's some waist/hip ratio for women that's the most attractive, and I assume you want to do that.. I think it's something like 4:5 or some such thing.
Her breasts also look a bit too circular for anyone not wearing a bra. Boobs don't really hang that way ever, even in water. So I'd suggest getting some pictures of women not wearing shirts or bras... somehow.
I really like the face, but I do believe that the eyes are not looking in the same direction.
Looking great so far

Hey man the one big problem is that you are trying to cover up your use of a photograph face. The body does not align to your photo. You should concentrate on doing your own faces so you can get good at doing them! |

Yo PPL!
Thanx for your replies
I know the body isn't finished The coloring and shading isn't complete yet.
It's just that I started with the face and build the pose around it.
I see now that the eyes are a bit... weird. I'll try to fix it.
About the tail, i dunno what to do with it, there aren't too much anatomy books about mermaids Maybe a book of dolphins will do.
Anywayz, thanx for the advice/comment!!
Greetz
