G'day Everyone,
I've just started to go through and put together a tutorial on an image I did a few weeks ago. You can find it on my website at:
www.mattelder.com -> Tutorials -> Rainz Tutorial (under serious construction)
I admit the image isn't the greatest but I think I'll be able to go through and explain in detail the steps involved. Anyhow, since people like yourselves are who I'm aiming it at, I'd be interested to hear any comments you might have. For example,
1) is it easy to follow
2) are the descriptions useful or is it too verbose
3) do you think the tutorial will actually be useful?
and so on. The reason I ask is that I've spent about 2.5 hours on it this afternoon and it needs alot more work. No point me doing it if it isn't going to be used or if I can write it so that it is more useful to people.
Thanks heaps.

OK, I hate to bring this back to the top but some feedback would be nice (even if it is to tell me that it is crap). Almost 100 people have looked at the tutorial page but no-one has left a comment. Is it really that bad?!

First off Matt, I don't know if it's my connection or not but your site seems to be extremely slow loading - And I've got DSL. I kept getting 404 errors while trying to load your tutorial so I don't really know how to give you any comments on it
One thing about the image though - there's something weird about the hair that's bothers me. And the way her head is turned as compared to which way her shoulders are facing. The main thing about the hair is that you have 3 or 4 lone strands that appear soaked and there's the front part of her bangs that sticks straight out. It seems as though that would be just as wet and probably laying against her head.
I dunno, I rambling |

Thanks for the respons Jezebel. Are you using Netscape per chance? For some reason Netscape doesn't like the directory structure I've got setup but it works fine on Internet Explorer. I'm trying to work out something for Netscape but only 10% of the people who visit my site have Netscape.
Thanks for the comments on the image. Trying to get that feel for 'wettness' was something that I struggled with and those few lone strands where something that I realised was wrong a bit too late (if you notice, the hair strands have shadows where they should be hard up against the clothing).
