Here is a portrait of my girlfriend.
It tooks a couple of hours (she was always moving ;o))

Nice!. Hey try using harsher tones and a wider range of values.....but your bound to get some quality advise from others.

Thanks for your comments Lukias.
Well, I agree for the wider range of value. When I look at it now (booo) I want to work on it one more hour ... it's obvious the skin tone is missing darker and brighter values. It looks like I just used 3 Color Values ( Well, I'll do better next time.
I didn't say it before but I drew her when she was in front of her computer (just to explain the light).
By the way, I didn't want to focuss on the hair, rendering the face was my interest.
But why you want me to use harsher tones ?
I mean, I like it more smoooooth (for this one at least). but I'll try one day ...

hey Faz! good attempt, i'm going on round 2 of my self portrait, cause my head was angled and my body was leaning back the whole time, and i've got to get a relaxed look going, cause it was hurting my neck after a while, being in that position...

If you have no clue what i'm talking about, you can take a look at my post...it should still be under Page 1 of the forums, somewhere down in the abyss...barely anyone checked it out, but that's coo cause it needs serious working on
