Ok I came across this picture while looking at a pretty funny site and well there is a debate between me and my friend if it's a bad 3d render or a painting.
Anyone settle this feud before it turns to bloodshed?

Definitely a render . . . I think its the JPeG compression thats making it look painterly . . . well, that and the complete lack of shadows.

The person that made this image really knows nothing about lighting.
It's a real shame to go through all of that complicated modeling and make such a terrible render. |
