Nice! You've really created an incredible sense of space in this picture, and I really like the colors you've chosen. My only crit would be that his face doesn't look quite right... it's a combination of the anatomy and the lighting, I think, but it looks like it's a little too small and a little too far down on his head. And it seems like his face is at a different angle than the rest of his head.
Hmm. One other little thing, the shadows from the wires are a bit strong, I think. There's a lot of diffuse light in the room, which would cause the shadows to be a lot lighter and a lot more fuzzy. But that's not a big deal. Great picture! |

swampbug: I used the path tool in photoshop to do those wires. increase the image size before you stroke the path. then drop it back down afterward.
waylon: I tried making the head a bit smaller and tried to line it up more. Thx for your help.

Very nice. Keep going. I'd be interested in seeing how you might add highlights in your scene or other light play. Perhaps even interface light play? It's something that dogs me every image I do. Due to the complex mechanical arrangement it's a tough mission. Your image brings to mind my feelings towards work in progress. Sometimes the road getting there is just as exciting as the final destination. I look forward to seeing the finish. |
