After working on that pond touch-up/matte and working on those sunsetting clouds, I thought I'd have a go at some daytime clouds, a cloud study I spose. Below is the thumbnail with a link to the 100% version, which is 97K. (not finished with it yet, but here is my progress)
Also, I thought I would return to coloring that sketch I did which is in pieces in the below pic. The black and white sketches will be colored, I just threw this composition together to get an idea of how it will look. I'm going to expand the sky a bit higher, and stretch it out so it'll be a panoramic shot. (By the way, I'm going for a looking over the cliff perspective. Those "distant" hills look like ground right now, but I'm working on that).
First question, is how big should I make this shot if I want to eventually output it to a oh....about a four foot wide poster/painting to hang on the wall? I know it should be 300 dpi, but what's just the right size so it's not blurry or pixelated?
Also, Crits/suggestions would be great, as I want to clear anything up that I missed before diving in.
Thanks a heep
