I posted that in a new thread so maybe more people will see it
Here is the original message from Aius, where the lineart was posted : http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/Forum2/HTML/006019.html
This is my first real try at digital coloring, the only things i did before was skins but thats not really the same thing i think, on a kin you have to be extremely precise and you cannot do really what you want.
I used photoshop 6 and i Love the new "art" brushes, but i will try Painter soon, because i really like beeing able to have the aspect of "realistic" paintbrush strokes.
Please post your opinions and tell me what is wrong so i can do better the newt time
PS : sorry for the lack of background, i did this mainly for training, i will try to do a background the next time

any other crits ? I'm not very sure about the skin color i choose, neither im sure if my shading colors are ok (maybe i should have used more different hues for the shadows) i dont know, im pretty happy with the result but im beginning so its hard for me to see my mistakes
if anyone have any suggestions or crits dont hesitate im here for that |

The skintone is fine. Remember, within reason, skin tone dosn't have a set color. Sometimes a good way to tweak your skin to a desired color is using Photoshop's "Variations" Option. Apart from that, It's a nice picture. |
