hi,
i just made this logo for our game. i'd like to hear what you think about it, i personally don't like the "2103" on the bottom, but i just didn't have any idea how it could look like. i also had problems making the tank look metallic - any suggestions?
thank you

Same here, I dont like it too, but the explosion looks awsome, is it a photomontage? |

I only really know photoshop (what are you using?), but you may have similar capabilities; use the toning tool with dodge and burn and the respective colours to create firey effects and super shiny metal. You can also create a 'texture' on the metal/fire with the use of another layer of a photo or drawn picture (preferable) on multiply/screen and either mask the texture to fit or erase it. (Check out Craig's site at www.goodbrush.com - just don't make it public that you needed to!) I like your lettering but you should move the whole pic down a bit, so the 2103 is hidden and write it again at the top boldly (in a font that either resembles printblock, the courier font or even a futureistic one) and maybe with fire or somthing similar writhing within. Sound good? |
