I agree with marc. It could be more graphic.
I thought that the shader you are using should produce more 2D feel... well, never used it, can't be sure. |

maya is better for big productions (movies etc.) coz it's far more robust than max.
max is often used by smaller studios (and smaller projects) that can't afford expensive td's.
