Uh, in the real comics, the ones by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, not the shitty archie ones based off the tv series, the turtles all had red bandans, this is true up to the current day.

might be interesting to experinment with different stuff on art you don't want to keep, just to see how much it destroys the paper/charcoal.

pretty good for someone that claims to have no artistic talent. Just keep trying man, everyone starts somewhere. Henri Mattisse didn't even start painting until he was in his 40s.
