Fabric of the skirt needs a little work, esp right next to her skin. It looks almost like an extension of her skin. Shouldn't there be some sort of distinction between the skirt fabric and her skin? M ...

The lighting seems to be a bit off, for some reason, maybe its the highlights on the (our right) her left cheek?

Well, maybe you could show us a few of the "attempts" at the face.. so we can give you pointers.. because without that its kind'a hard to go.. "well the nose is a bit off.." etc.. Does that help?

I don't see anything wrong with the design or colors.. but if you are going to make that into a webpage.. you might want to make the borders smaller... it seems like the design takes up a lot more roo ...

henrik: Those hills (islands) in the distance give the ocean so much depth.

Brue: I love the rough ocean effect. Yours doesn't really suck, it might not be as refined as the rest of the painting but ...

In the eyes, the pupils look way too big for the eye, and also maybe the eye lid should have a shadow under it to give it depth from the eye itself. That's just for the eye... http://www.sijun.com/dh ...

her face kind'a looks a tad bit too small for her body, and also a little pale. Maybe adding a bit more flesh colors in there?

I'm having trouble with edges too, I haven't tried the sharpen tool yet.. but I agree, I would like to get sharp edges without those tools.
