If this is 1500 triangles, you've got some serious optimization to do.. she doesnt look more detailed than Q3's models (which are ~1000 triangles).

1000-1200 is average for Quake 3 model, so that wont cause any problems for your Gundam (he looks nice btw)

I don't mind the texture, but where's does the light come from? I don't see any 'directed' lighting and it makes the character looks flat and confusing.
