You have obviously got the talent for shading and coloring, so why not try ditching the outlines? I think it would look spectacular if there weren't any outlines, just the 3d rendered look.

Yeah, I am still figuring out how to maintain good character in the faces. The eyes were hard to make look "alive", but I am still learning and trying things..

I use a Wacom 9x12 and have never had a single problem with it. I like the size also, because it's much easier to use it for navigating windows without a mouse.
