Well, if have alot of time you can render the logo to an image .gif, .bpm or something.
Then ompen the pic/pics in Adobe Streamline and export as vector.

This isn't a good ide, but it works...

I think your problem is that you havn't put the .tga on the model.To do that go intop the surface meny, click on the T-button netxt to the surface color. ten choose you image and click use texture...

To recommend a book on the basics of drawing (mostly heads). Drawing on the right side of the brain. It's really good for beginners. And it looks at drawing from a different angle.

Well, the rope looks really good. But you need to work on the shading on the character, do it softer, the it's got too sharp lines. I'm sure the finlan pic will look great.
